Punch Walls To Escape Bag Upgrades: Capacity and Costs

Last updated:

A larger bag lets you collect more rubble between selling trips. Choose the upgrade offered in your current route: Backpack levels in the five-wall route or Bag I and Bag II in the room-clearing route.

Quick Answer

In the five-wall route, upgrade your Backpack at the Tool Shop. In the room-clearing route, use the wall-mounted Bag Upgrade: Bag I costs $60 and raises capacity from 60 to 225 blocks, while Bag II costs $700 and raises it from 225 to 600. Infinite Bag removes the capacity limit, but you still need to sell and it does not enlarge the conveyor.

Backpack Capacity and Costs

In the five-wall route, approach the Backpack on the Tool Shop rack and press E to view its upgrades. Choose the upgrade you want from the menu. The early Backpack holds 30 rubble; its later capacities and known upgrade costs are listed below.

The level 2-to-3 upgrade costs $150 with the THIS RUN option, and level 3-to-4 costs $300 with THIS RUN. Level 4-to-5 costs $550. When your Backpack fills up, take the rubble to the Crusher before collecting more.

Bag I and Bag II Capacity

The room-clearing route uses a separate bag progression. Bag I increases a 60-block capacity to 225; Bag II increases 225 to 600. A larger bag is useful when frequent trips to unload are interrupting collection.

How to Buy Bag I and Bag II

To buy Bag I with cash:

  1. Collect and sell rubble until you have at least $60.
  2. Approach the wall-mounted Bag Upgrade and press F.
  3. Select BUY $60. Your capacity increases from 60 to 225 blocks.

The Bag I menu also offers ONE ROUND for 5 Robux and PERMANENT for 15 Robux. The Bag II menu offers the 225-to-600 upgrade for $700, or a single-round option for 9 Robux. For help choosing between purchase durations, see This Run vs Permanent purchases.

When Infinite Bag Is Useful

Consider Infinite Bag if a full bag frequently interrupts your collecting and you want unlimited space across runs. The regular Infinite Bag Forever pass is listed at 49 Robux.

Infinite Bag – Keep Forever is a separate upgrade for someone who already has Infinite Bag for the current run. It offers permanent unlimited space across runs and servers by paying the difference, but the listing is currently not for sale. See the game pass guide for other permanent equipment choices.

Bigger Bags Still Need a Selling Point

A larger bag increases how much you carry per trip, but it does not increase the conveyor's receiving capacity. If the belt is full, blocks that cannot fit remain in your bag. Infinite Bag removes the storage limit; collected rubble still has to be sold for cash. Follow the rubble selling guide for the selling interactions.

If you are considering Turbo Vacuum, expand your bag first when capacity is already your bottleneck. Faster collection is more useful when you have room to hold what you pick up; see the vacuum guide for equipment choices.
