How to Make Money and Sell Rubble in Punch Walls To Escape
Last updated:
Turn broken walls into cash by collecting rubble and taking it to the selling point for your current route. Spend the proceeds on the part of the collection and selling loop that slows you down.
Quick Answer
Break walls, collect the rubble with a Vacuum, and carry it to a selling point. In the five-layer wall route, approach the Crusher and click it or press E. In the room-clearing route, walk into the introductory SELL HERE area or press E at the conveyor input. If the conveyor is full, blocks it cannot accept remain in your bag. Upgrade capacity, collection, or Crusher Speed to improve the slowest part of your loop.
Turn Broken Walls into Cash
Break a wall, use a Vacuum to collect the loose rubble, and take your load to the selling point. Use the cash to buy tools or upgrades, then return to the wall and repeat.
| Selling point | Use |
|---|---|
| Grinder | Sell collected rubble. |
| Crusher | Process rubble for cash in the five-layer wall route. |
| SELL HERE | Walk into the green selling area during the room-clearing introduction. |
| Conveyor | Unload your bag at the input in the room-clearing route; transported rubble earns cash. |
Sell Rubble at the Crusher
- Collect loose rubble with your Vacuum. If your backpack is empty, collect some before trying to sell.
- Follow the selling prompt or ground arrows back to the Crusher.
- Approach the machine and click it or press E to sell the rubble in your backpack.
- Watch for CRUSHING and the cash payment, then return to the wall to collect another load.
To shorten the processing stage, open UPGRADES → Gear and upgrade Crusher Speed.
Use SELL HERE and the Conveyor
In the room-clearing introduction, press 2 to equip the Vacuum and hold the mouse button while aiming at loose rubble. Carry the collected pieces into the green SELL HERE area beneath the wall opening.
For a conveyor delivery, approach the belt input with rubble in your bag. When Empty bag onto belt appears, press E. The belt transports the rubble and your cash increases.
When your bag is full, the game can also prompt you to sell to your cellmate.
Why Blocks Remain in Your Bag
If the conveyor says it is full, it cannot accept the entire load. The blocks left behind stay in your bag and continue to occupy carrying space; the prompt tells you how many remain.
Improve the Slowest Part of the Cash Loop
Spend cash where it will remove your current bottleneck:
- Breaking: Upgrade your fists or use a stronger tool when breaking walls takes too long. A Vacuum collects rubble after you break it; Turbo Vacuum does not directly break red brick walls.
- Collection: Upgrade Vacuum Suction, Reach, or Spread when loose rubble piles up. In the room-clearing route, open the Vacuum upgrades through Q or UPGRADES. See the Vacuum guide for equipment choices.
- Carrying: Increase bag or backpack capacity if you keep filling up and making return trips. In the room-clearing route, Bag I raises capacity from 60 to 225 for $60. In the wall route, expand your backpack before buying Turbo Vacuum so faster collection has more room to work. Compare the routes in the bag and backpack guide.
- Movement: Improve walking speed if traveling between the wall and selling point takes a large share of each trip.
- Processing: Buy Crusher Speed when the Crusher is the slowest stage. A larger bag carries more per trip, but it does not guarantee that a conveyor can accept the whole load at once.
Room-route Robots upgrades help everyone on the team. See the Robots guide for their upgrades and repair interaction, or the upgrades overview for other ways to spend cash.
Recognize the Gold Voxel Notification
A Gold Voxel can appear while you break walls in the five-layer route, including Reinforced at layer 4/5. Its notification identifies it by name and lists a cash value of $40.
Compactor Upgrade Price
In the room-clearing route, the Compactor upgrade entry is priced at $4,000.
